    Try a different brand

    These are the worst foam brushes I have ever used. I buy foam brushes for use on small projects many of which require varnish or polyurethane. These brushes start to fall apart within minutes. Also you can't find one out of 20 with a straight cut on the end. The main problem is they fall apart. I have never had this happen before especially this fast.

    Falls apart on large projects

    Works great for small projects, but foam brush slides off handle every time on larger projects. Had to use three for one large project. I would recommend for small arts and crafts, but not recommended for staining and varnishing.
