Texas Customs make a great bridge for tone, looks and comfort.
I've worked with half a dozen different tele bridges, including some "Full Contact" bridges. This is my second Texas Customs Bridges. They are the nicest looking, most comfortable bridges I've owned. I palm mute and also rest my palm on the back of the bridge while playing so it's nice to have a smooth surface instead of the typical narrow metal angles and saddle screws poking my hand.They are pretty heavy but I feel that improves tone.I've worked with half a dozen different tele bridges, including some "Full Contact" bridges. It’s ok not really practical
It’s ok, not really practical though. The way the strings come though the body and across the saddles, the strings rest on the intonation springs and bend in a pretty drastic angle towards the top of the bridge. Cool design though just needs work.
