    Belt was to short.

    It seems that China is maybe trying to save money or just don't care about what they put out. These belts were approximately 2 inches shorter then the OEM Whirlpool belt and caused the idler pulley to rub up against the motor pulley. This is not the first time this has happened. I recently purchased a belt for a maytag dryer and it was also made to short. The OEM replacement fit perfectly. From now on I will only purchase OEM belts. Buying Chinese knockoffs is hit and miss . I will still buy those Chinese products that are of reasonable quality.
