Acer Chromebook 15
Definitely the right choice for my first ever laptop. Material is quite good despite what popular reviews might say. Only thing to “complain” about is that the trackpad is not exactly the smoothest one out there. Kinda loud click, but great response to make up for it. All in all, it’s a steal for the price and the timing couldn’t be better, in the situation the world is in, plus it came ONE DAY EARLY. Seriously recommend this, especially if it’s for your first laptop.

Good Chromebook. Reasonable price.
I haven't used it that much, but it seems to run quickly and I haven't had any problems. The only reason I took off 1 star is because I hate the inherent limitations of Chromebooks. I needed a Chromebook for my kids for school. Make sure you understand how they work before you get one. If you need one this seems to work well and was a reasonable price. Get out a ruler. Good 1st Time Computer
i got this for a friend who is older and not familiar w a computer though does use basic smart phone tech. that being said this Chromebook is a breeze to get used to and easy to learn due to Chrome OS. the physical attributes are excellent being all lightweight plastic. for the $$ it is certainly a good value overall. the screen is ok and u have to have it angled a bit more back than what most would be use to. the speakers r quite good as well. the processor is fairly fast and more than adequate for most tasks including streaming movies. my only issue is the modem as it does tend to drop frequently (though have not yet determined if it the router and not the computer). overall i'd recommend this as a 1st time laptop purchase. rate -- 8.5/10Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
