I put my credit card/direct debit details on record, when will they be charged?

If you have nominated to pay your eBay fees by placing your details on record, our automatic billing system will charge your credit card or direct debit information 5 - 7 days after your invoice is issued each month. If your card is not on record at the time of invoicing, it will not be charged until the next billing cycle runs.

Your monthly billing cycle will end on either the 15th or the last day of each month, depending upon what date you registered as a member of eBay, and your invoice is generated shortly thereafter.

You can check when your monthly billing cycle ends by following these steps:

  1. Go to My eBay at the top of any eBay page.
  2. Click on the 'Accounts' tab within My eBay and click on the 'View account status' link.
  3. Select 'View account by date range', and 'Since last invoice' on the account status page. Then click 'Submit'.
  4. At the top of the next page, look for 'Billing Cycle Date'. This is when your monthly billing cycle ends.

Note: This is a different process than placing your credit or debit card details on record as part of creating a Seller's Account.
