Alcohol policyIf you intend to sell on one or more of eBay's international sites, you will need to accept, and we encourage you to carefully review, the User Agreement, policies, and other requirements of that site. You can continue to reach out to the relevant customer service teams on the respective eBay site of your listing or transaction, as may be applicable to the nature of your query.
Policy overviewWe generally don't allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on the India eBay website (eBay.in). At our discretion, we may permit sales of other types of alcohol by pre-approved sellers in designated categories. We don't allow the sale of collectible containers that contain alcohol. Members outside India aren't allowed to sell alcohol to members residing in the India. Make sure your listing follows our guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including restrictions of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.
What are the guidelines?
Alcohol-related collectiblesWe don't allow any container with alcohol, even if it may be considered collectible. Pre-approved sellers can still list wine in the appropriate category. At our discretion, we may permit sales of other types of alcohol by pre-approved sellers in designated categories.
We want to make sure buyers and sellers understand and follow all laws and regulations on the sale of alcohol. Certain alcoholic products are prohibited by law and could harm members so those items can't be sold on eBay.
