Is my item allowed on eBay?If you intend to sell on one or more of eBay's international sites, you will need to accept, and we encourage you to carefully review, the User Agreement, policies, and other requirements of that site. You can continue to reach out to the relevant customer service teams on the respective eBay site of your listing or transaction, as may be applicable to the nature of your query.
There are certain items that may not be sold on eBay or may only be sold in special areas of the site, such as our Mature Audiences section. eBay may end a listing early if it violates one of our stated policies. In such cases, eBay will notify both the seller, as well as bidders, via email when a listing has been ended. Before you list your item, it is a good idea to review eBay's Prohibited and Restricted items policy to see if it is on the list of what may not be sold on eBay. These guidelines and policies are designed to help you trade safely and legally on eBay. These policies involve:
eBay’s listing policies also provide guidelines on how an item may be listed and described. Items may be removed for violations of the Listing Policies. Note: Even if you offer to give away for "free" (rather than sell) a prohibited, questionable, or infringing item, this will not relieve you of potential liability. This applies to both seller and buyer. Tip: Remember, if an item is illegal, buyers may be subject to liability for purchasing the item.
