Great to get started with the ESP6266
Pros:
+ good build quality
+ narrow enough to fit on a breadboard
+ built in lipo charger
Cons
- expensive compared to Chinese made Node MCU boards
- draws a 6ma idle current in deep sleep

Volume too high
The device amplified the sound a lot. I had to turn the sound all the way down on the transmitting and receiving device for it to be bearable.

Get a larger one
From the picture, you can't get an idea of its size. When it arrived it turned out to be much smaller than I expected.
