1 of 1 found this helpful This grip is good. the stick to control the focus point has a different feel from the camera. I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to back button focus, but that was just a button assignment that I had to change in the camera. Had the camera's AE button already setup for that. Now it's just overcoming the muscle memory from my d3300, which didn't have all the options, so my hand still had to change positions and do strange things.

She is a vicious machine, elegant, and truthful. She's a bit more complicated than the d3000 series, which is where I was coming from, but it was worth the investment.
