Fighting on the Frontier
This book presents one of the best explanations of what our ancestors had to deal with. This has been a very good read, for once the truth from both sides good or bad has been told.
Robert Rodgers and his Ranger companies are shown to the reader as the trials and accomplishments of these men.

Great details not easily found
For people who first read Samuel Elliot Morrisions' John Paul Jones this book answers many questions about why actions or the lack of them occurred. A very good read Mr. Fowler has done a very detailed study for us.
